• Ensure you are aware of & comply with all company health & safety procedures and standards at all times e.g.

food handling, COSHH, uniforms & PPE, manual handling, fire procedures

• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, pan wash and surrounding working areas ensuring health and safety hazards, issues, near misses and accidents are reported to your line manager at the earliest opportunity
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned / washed and put away
• Ensure the correct storage, control and use of all machinery and equipment, cleaning materials and relevant chemicals
• Assist with the checking off and putting away of delivers as required
• Empty bins
• Perform other general tasks which may from time to time be required and deemed reasonable, by your Line Manager
• Undertake mandatory training as requiredOur ideal Kitchen Porter will :
