This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Exchange Manager to join our dynamic team in a leading role. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver initiatives to promote and support external collaborations that leverage the University’s research expertise as outlined in our Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy . This includes facilitating knowledge exchange through contract and collaborative research, consultancy, testing services, and knowledge transfer partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with academic and external partners, identifying opportunities for income generation through knowledge exchange, and providing support and guidance on available opportunities. You will proactively engage with SMEs, third sector, community, and commercial clients to understand their needs and broker agreements to support collaborative projects. The successful candidate will have proven experience in knowledge exchange, technology transfer, or related fields, preferably within the university sector or industry. They will possess strong project management skills, a track record of securing income or grant funding, and the ability to identify business needs and communicate solutions in a clear and engaging way. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team with colleagues across the University and have excellent communication, time management and influencing skills.
