This role focuses on building confidence, fostering positive relationships, and reintroducing children to a structured curriculum in a way that works for them.About the Role : We are seeking a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic partner organization that specializes in supporting children within mainstream education.Are you a Teaching Assistant in the Mansfield or the surrounding area looking for a new role that offers variety and the ability to adapt to the needs of the children you support? In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, helping them gain confidence and re-engage with education. While most of your work will involve 1 : 1 support, you will also facilitate small group activities to help children reintegrate with their peers.This role offers a unique opportunity to work in various settings, including schools, community centres, and vocational environments, ensuring that children receive holistic support in the most suitable setting for their growth.Key Details :

  • Location : Mansfield & surrounding areas
  • Age Range : KS2 & KS3
  • Salary : £13 - £19 per hour (term-time only, unpaid school holidays)
  • Contract Type : Permanent
  • Hours : 9 AM – 3 PM (Monday to Friday, or a minimum of 3 days per week for part-time roles)
  • Qualifications : Teaching Assistant qualifications preferred, but other relevant qualifications will be considered
  • Experience Required : Minimum 1 year working with children in an education setting or a related field

  • Delivering pre-planned interventions to children on a 1 : 1 basis (with the flexibility to adapt to each child's needs)
  • Supporting group activities to help children build social confidence
  • Creating a fun, positive, and supportive environment for children to thrive
  • Reporting pupil progress to senior staff and identifying areas for improvement
  • Helping children manage emotions and regulate their behavior
  • Working alongside vocational staff and other specialists to deliver a broad, enriched curriculum
  • Transporting children between sites when required
  • Upholding the highest safeguarding standards at all times
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleaguesTraining & Career Development :
  • Comprehensive Induction – Includes a week-long training program, office-based learning with HR & senior leadership, and 2 days of shadowing in your local area.
  • Level 3 TA Qualification (Fully Funded) – After 6 months, you will have the opportunity to gain your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, fully paid for by the organization.
