Job Title : English and Maths KS3 Intervention Tutor

Location :

East of England, Essex, Clacton-on-Sea

Job Type :

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary : 20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties :

Provide targeted intervention and support for Key Stage 3 students in English and Maths
Create bespoke learning plans to address individual student needs and improve academic performance
Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions to enhance student understanding and confidence
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a coordinated approach to student development

Required Qualifications :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills :

Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum in English and Maths

Ability to tailor teaching approaches to meet individual student needs

Excellent classroom management skills

Experience in delivering intervention programmes

Working Conditions :

Part-time hours with flexible scheduling

Work primarily in a learners home or local community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
