JOB : Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION : Nottinghamshire
TERM : Permanent
SALARY : £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client manufactures a range of Special Purpose Machinery going into a range of sectors. They are looking to expand their design team by taking on a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in their offices in Nottinghamshire.
Qualifications :
- Experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
- Engineering qualification (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, BSc etc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Excellent 3D CAD skills (AutoCAD 2D, 3D and Autodesk Inventor)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining and fabrication
- Experience in Metal Design Fabrication
- Good understanding of Electrical Engineering
- Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Keen to develop with a company long term
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
