Salary Up to £65,000 Plus Car Allowance, Bonus & Pension

100 Million + New Build Project based just outside HULL. Leading UK Main Contractor. Business specializes in Logistics Facilities, Research Centers & Data Centers. High Value & Fast Track schemes for Global International Clients.

Reporting to the Project Manager on site in Hull, you will be responsible for a specific section of work. You will be working with the sub-contractors on site to ensure that key stages are hit in line with the contract. You understand that you will have to work with the supply chain to ensure its success for all, including passes, deliveries, access or manpower. You could be managing and driving success handling the following :

  • Piling & Bulk Earthworks
  • External works, drainage, landscaping, paving & carpark works
  • Steel Sequencing & Erection on site
  • Interior Fit Out & MEP Services

You are not expected to be an expert on even 50% of the above. You are, however, expected to want to learn and take onboard information.

Note taking and site lessons on a daily basis are essential. If you can work with the suppliers and ask the right questions, you will be staggered at how far you can go with common sense, sound questioning, and a good attitude.

  • Fast Track program with Circa £4 Million Per Week spent on site
  • Project Director has been with the group for 9 Years and is held in high regard ( Firm but fair approach )

  • Built Projects ranging from £10 Million to £200 Million
  • Track record on Industrial Warehouses, Commercial Office Space, Retail Storage, Life Science & Data Center Projects

    • Requirements

  • Currently based in UK or Ireland and able to attend face-to-face interview upon request
  • Understand this is a site-based role with long hours and days required to hit targets on site
  • Ideally, experience for a Sub-Contractor or Trade Contractor working on a Live Construction Site
  • You understand how to read a drawing, procure and plan works to help hit productivity targets
  • You have the personal skills to work with the supply chain and sub-contractors to ensure that issues are removed so they can be successful on site ( WIN WIN for all )
  • Able to start before the 1st of May 2025
  • CV must show stability and loyalty as the client won’t entertain 5 job moves in 10 years
  • After this project in Hull, you will be required to travel to the next site. This may be Manchester, Leeds or London. It’s part of the company culture & ethos, and you understand this
