Finance Manager

Job Title : Finance ManagerLocation : Birmingham Business ParkSalary : £40,000- £50,000 per annumWorking Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM (with 1-hour lunch break)Contract : Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per weekBenefits :

With a turnover of £5 million and a team of 25 dedicated professionals, the company continues to evolve, providing excellent services to its clients. Payroll is outsourced, and the business utilises an invoice discount facility to support ongoing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Financial Reporting
• Production of management accounts – producing monthly P&L and balance sheet, posting all journals accordingly
• Management information - Produce weekly reports to support informed business decisions and provide relevant analysis and insights
• Budget preparation - assist with preparation of annual budget working closely with budget holders
• Balance sheet reconciliations - perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• VAT returns - preparation of quarterly VAT return
• Cash flow forecasting - production of weekly cash flow forecastLedger Management
• Oversee ledgers and financial processes
• Purchase ledger - posting all purchase invoices and production of payment run files
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial dataGrowth & Development
• Adapt financial processes to meet the demands of a growing business
• Support the expansion of the business by managing financial systems effectivelyCandidate RequirementsBackground & Qualifications
• Qualified - Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or economics and / or CFA, ACCA or similar
• Strong organisational and self-management skills
