Quality Engineer

Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Quality Engineer on a contract basis. This will be a site based position in in and around Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

You will be working for a Tier 1 contractor on a huge, long term Rail and Civil Project, with numerous project sites, with all different elements of Civils works in a Rail environment.

Civils works on this project can include (but are not limited to) - Station works / Upgrades / Refurbs - Embankment works - Earthworks - Groundworks / Construction works - Mining and Tunneling - New Bridges / Bridge replacements - Overpasses / Underpasses etc.

I am looking for a Quality Engineer with experience working on Rail Projects, large scale and fast paced.

ESSENTIAL FOR QUALITY ENGINEER ROLE -

1. Rail background - predominantly Civils works

2. 5 years minimum working in Quality / QA roles

3. Tier 1 contractor / PC experience

4. PTS

Due to the nature of the project this will be a site based role, so the ideal candidate will live local, however the client will consider candidates who are not local, and will support by providing lodge relief allowance.

Quality Engineer role details -

Initial 12 month contract - up to 3+ years worth of work

Inside IR35 - Rate TBC DOE (£400 PD upwards dependent on experience)

Lodge allowance - £355.77 per week before deductions

Start sate - ASAP (notices will be considered)

Interviews - 1 hour on teams
