DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE TEACHING COMPUTER SCIENCE IN A UK SECONDARY SCHOOL?

Hours : Full Time

Pay rate : To scale for fully qualified teachers (£160-250 per day dependent upon qualifications and experience)

Location : Coventry, CV6

Start Date : ASAP

Our ideal applicant will :

Hold a UK QTS in Computer Science
Have vast experience teaching / covering Computer Science lessons in a UK secondary school
Have competent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Computer Science
Be able to commit to a full time teaching opportunity
Be confident with their own behaviour management skills and be a strong classroom presence
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively

You will be responsible for :

planning and delivering a range of exciting computer science lessons to KS3-KS5 that engages all learners within each class

regularly assessing pupil progress and providing constructive and positive feedback through marking and verbal communication

ensuring the best academic outcomes for all pupils within your classes, tailoring lessons to suit individual needs

working closely with support staff to ensure pupils with special educational needs, receive the care and dedication they need in order to succeed

ensuring safeguarding principles are at the centre of your practice
