Internal Business Development ExecutiveThis is a hybrid working role – based in HQ in Strathaven and working from home, flexible working availableCandidates must have a full UK driving licence with own vehicleBasic salary £35,000 plus quarterly bonus of up to 60% of your salary, pension, holidays, and benefitsMy client is a leading supplier of consumables, instrumentation, automation, servicing and training for chromatography and mass spectrometry. They are now seeking an enthusiastic Internal Business Development Executive to work alongside a Business Development Manager.This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Business Development Executive, who can demonstrate experience of working in the Pharma / Scientific industry or have a Chromatography Lab background or a Science related degree with a genuine interest and aptitude to work in sales. (This role offers ongoing sales and product training along with excellent career development).As an Internal Business Development Executive, you will work in a fast-paced environmentand be responsible for managing your own accounts, whilst expanding product lines within the existing customers and onboarding new customers and building lasting relationships.Duties

  • You will establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and new customers to generate sales for product and services
  • Call and email exiting customers whilst also contacting prospective customers
  • Attend quarterly site visits
  • Attend exhibitions and other networking events
  • Research for new prospective customers
  • Produce clear and effectively written email communications, sales proposals and quotations
  • Close the sale own sales as well as those generated by other sales members
  • Coordinates sales activity with the marketing team as well as the senior management team to deliver additional sales focus for key product lines
  • Provide weekly management team with an update on commercial activities, customer feedback and industry updates
  • Comply with all quality, health, and safety company procedures
