Job description

Structural Engineer - required for your client based in Norwich, The ideal Structural Engineer would have 2 years post Graduate experience and be interested in working on projects up to £76m but predominantly projects in the £10m - £20m range. The Structural Engineer will be interested in working on listed buildings, healthcare, Education and residential projects, The Structural Engineer will be supported with Chartership training through regular personal development days and an inhouse programme to achieve chartership.

Structural Engineer Position Overview

Attend design and Site Meetings

Carry out Site Inspections and Reports

Managing projects from concept through to construction

Manage current clients and generate new clients

Manage design and engineering team

Designing structures efficiently using concrete, steel, masonry and timber

Complete detailed specifications on structural designs

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

2+ years design experience

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

Design experience (with software and hand-calculations)

Collaborative and team-focussed attitude

A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Communication and teamwork abilities

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
