Legal Assistant - Court of Protection
A highly regarded, award-winning full-service law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its growing Court of Protection department.
This is a rare opportunity to become part of one of the leading Court of Protection teams in Wales, ranked in Chambers & Partners 2024 Guide.
This is a full-time, permanent role, available to start as soon as possible.
Location : Bridgend (with hybrid working available after an initial 6-month supervision period).
Role Requirements :
The ideal candidate will :
- Have strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage and maintain a busy team diary while meeting tight court deadlines.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience in general administrative duties within a litigation team, such as :
- Speaking with new and potential clients.
- Preparing court bundles.
- Liaising with third parties, including the court and counsel.
- Supporting fee earners with case management.
- Be proactive, well-organised, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Have experience in audio typing using a digital dictation system.
