They operate with a focus on safety, technical excellence, and sustainability to meet the needs of modern development.In line with a £20 million M&E Commerical office design & build scheme in the heart of the City of London, my client is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to take this recently won project which will be commencing in the coming 3 months.This project will encompass elements of shell and core installations. However, project experience in commerical office or retail fit out valued upwards of £5 million M&E will be strongly favoured due to my clients' requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor who is keen to progress to M&E Commerical Management in the coming years with a MEP Contractor that is driven to grow whist maintaining the respect and personal connection between the business and their employees.Responsibilities / Key Experiences RequiredPlayed a key role in the development of project from inception till completion with project values upwards of £5 million M&E.Tendering & procurement processes.Forecasting and monitoring costs throughout project programme.Oversee final accounts.Valuing variation orders.Cost reporting.Contract administration.Liaise with the commercial and operational team to ensure that the installations always adhere to the budget.Develop a cash flow forecast.Client facing.Supporting the monitoring of the progress of the Works.The preparation and submission of contractual notices and / or correspondence to both the Client and Sub-Contractors.The preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts.Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets.Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide update on any ongoing contract specific negotiations and overall job performance.Compile monthly progress reports for both the Contracts team & Commercial Manager.preparing material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting.Liaising, negotiating, and relationship building with clients and consultants on an on-going basis.Be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations, and managing variations and change orders.Liaising with contracts, estimating and pre-construction teams to obtain full understanding of each project scope.Remuneration PackageA very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience / track record)Fully expensed travelContributory pension schemeDiscretionary bonus (personal KPI)25 days holidayFor more information on this position and other similar building services related posts, please do not hesitate to contact Brandon Goatley of GH Engage
