Portfolio Associate - Private Credit Fund

Eames Consulting are currently seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Associate on behalf of a distinguished private credit fund, boasting circa $1 billion in AUM. This dynamic firm operates from offices in London, Europe, and the US, focusing on a variety of private credit strategies, including distressed debt and real estate investments.

This Portfolio Associate role has emerged due to the significant growth the firm has experienced, with the headcount doubling over the past 12 months. This position offers a unique opportunity to report directly to the Head of Asset Management and play a crucial role in establishing and leading the portfolio monitoring and analytics function within the company.

Please note, this is not an investment role and sits firmly in the middle office function of the business.

Key responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a new portfolio monitoring and analytics dashboard.
• Support the preparation and presentation of quarterly performance reports.
• Manage ad hoc reporting requests, including the calculation of metrics for business decision-making and investment performance analysis.
• Create tools and processes to establish a world-class portfolio function.
• Drive process improvements and optimisations.
• Integrate annual business plans and revaluations into financial metrics and business reporting.
