Job description

My client is searching for a Family Solicitor to join their team in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

My client is seeking a proactive, customer–focused Lawyer with a flexible approach to work to join their busy team of Solicitors in Eastbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to manage their own caseload which will comprise of both Public and Private Family Law matters including;

Child Protection matters
PLO cases and care proceedings acting for parents
Private law Children Act proceedings and non–molestation
Occupation orders

My client offers a competitive salary which is based on experience and my client are open to applications from both junior and senior lawyers, and legal executives. They fully encourage all staff in terms of continued professional development and will ensure that you have all the support needed in order to gain the appropriate experience needed, which includes developing skills in both Public and Private Family Law.

The priority is to ensure that you are both competent and confident in the areas of private law Children Act Proceedings and non–molestation order applications, as well as child protection and PLO cases, and can begin work on these cases immediately.

Essential Skills and Experaince

Demonstrable experience in Legal Aid work

Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire for continued development

Ability to work as part of a team and have strong communication skills

You must be client–focused and able to seek out opportunities to optimise client relationships
