We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Tutor who is passionate about sharing their knowledge and skills to join our team.

We teach traditional jewellery making skills in an informal setting, to small groups of 6 people of mixed ability, in an inclusive, intimate and welcoming setting.

Applicants should have good communication and listening skills, be calm, positive and patient. They should have previous experience of teaching the subject, be health and safety conscious, and most importantly, they should be passionate about teaching the subject.

Our Thursday morning class runs from 10am-1pm, and is offered twice per term for 6 weeks each. You should also be available to teach occasional 1 day taster courses at weekends, as well as 4-day intensive courses during half term breaks and holidays. These are shared between all tutors.

We are also always open to suggestions of adding specialist subject courses you may be able to offer.

As we are a private workshop, we do not require tutors to write in depth lesson plans or complete learner paperwork, no team meetings, and no need to satisfy funding partners. We simply offer good quality teaching with the student experience at its heart.
