MB677 : Maintenance Support Engineer Team Leader

Location : Holyhead, Anglesey

Salary : £37,365

Working Hours : Mon to Fri 37 hours per week (7am til 5pm flexi shifts with 2pm finish on Fridays) + optional overtime

Overview :

First Military Recruitment are proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Maintenance Support Engineer Team Leader due to growth based at their Holyhead depot.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • IMS data management : Support data correction, documentation checks, and IMS test script development and execution.
  • IMS Support and Training : Provide on-site IMS support, mentoring, and issue resolution.
  • IMS Improvement : Maintain IMS expertise, address issues directly, and contribute to IMS report development.
  • Ensure personnel are authorised, trained, and comply with safety regulations for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Operations Centre, Production planning Cell Core Team, and RAF Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) teams.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience as the primary point of contact (POC) for all MSE actions and issues arising from meetings, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) meetings.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate a team within a similar sector, including pastoral care for employee well-being. Previous experience in leading and developing staff, collaborating with team leaders, and engaging with other members of the management team.
  • Training in an Aircraft related discipline to City and Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent i.e., Aero NVQ Level 3.
  • Knowledge of MAA Regulatory frameworks.
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain standard BPSS Clearance.
