We have a fantastic opportunity to join the bank as an IT Delivery Lead.
Here you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end execution of IT projects, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.
You’ll be required to provide your project planning, execution, monitoring and closure expertise, while maintaining a strong focus on scope, schedule, budget and quality.

Understanding the Santander UK Technology stack and how this can be best utilised to meet all new demands presented to the Infrastructure, Operations and End User Technology organisation
Working with all teams across the Infrastructure, Operations and End User Technology organisation to gain the best possible customer outcomes, while ensuring all build standards and operational patterns are met
Maintaining a constant appreciation and understanding of how technology can be used to simplify day to day operations and delivery, while contributing to the wider business vision
Operating alongside Demand Management and PMO functions, with alignment to the Service Engagement Partners and the tacit knowledge of the CIO domains roadmaps and longer-term visions
Embracing the change that the Santander UK vision requires and demonstrate this through daily interactions and direction, with a digital first mantra
What you’ll bring :
A seasoned Technologist with broad and deep knowledge of how infrastructure and operations pervade all business delivery and value realisation
Interpersonal skills with an ability to speak fluidly across Technology and Business domains
A natural leader who is comfortable sitting at the forefront of the Infrastructure, Operations and End User Technology team, providing the intersection between the Technology and Business
Current industry knowledge and ability to recognise the potential and benefit that a hybrid on-prem and cloud approach can provide
Ability to plan and forecast the use of technology to realise business goals and meet all stakeholders’ requirements
Risk appetite understanding with a natural affinity to manage and mitigate yet ensure value is derived from ongoing deliveries that meet both Technology and Business demands
It would also be nice for you to have :
Professional qualification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Financial management and control with associated training and / or qualification
Experience of working in a tier one banking environment or equivalent financial services organisation
Hands on exposure and experience of Infrastructure build processes and automation

This is a Fixed Term Contract position until st March .
This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least days in an office every week.

First Stage – Technical & Competency Interview – this will a one-hour virtual interview with two members of the team.
Second Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask some further technical questions. This will ideally be completed face to face depending on your situation.
