We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team on a full time basis.  We are looking for someone who is friendly, flexible and showcases a professional attitude and enjoys working as a team and independently.   This position reports into the Head Chef and Executive Chef.

Location :   Summer Lodge Country House Hotel, Dorset

Employment type :   Full-time

Working pattern : Shift work 5 days on 2 days off

Salary : £23,887.00

Key Responsibilities of a   Kitchen Porter :

  • Assisting the kitchen team with preparing and cleaning kitchen areas before, during, and after service.
  • Operating pot-washing machinery and maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.
  • Assisting chefs and waiters as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Checking chemical levels and managing inventory to ensure everything is in stock.
