You could be taking forward our plans to deliver the very best for our residents and businesses, enabling a rapid leap forward in connectivity and sustainability across a large, predominantly rural, ambitious Local Authority.
The role of Principal Transport Planner asks you to take on some of our great strategic challenges – the Local Transport Plan, Active Travel, County-wide engagement, policy horizon scanning, infrastructure strategy – and bring your skills, expertise and tenacious manner to building the very best transport networks, be it public transport, walking, cycling and wheeling, or those to support housing and economic growth.
If you are enthusiastic about building your career and building a new era of transport then this could be the role for you.
The ultimate goal of the Transport planning team is to deliver better experiences for passengers, residents and businesses, better connectivity both inward and outward to our neighbours, region and nations and ultimately a better place to live.
