Trainee Teaching Assistant

Location : Monmouthshire

Flexible Shifts & Full-Time Opportunities

Starting from £83.85 per day.

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? We’re looking for Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Monmouthshire . No school experience? No problem! We value personal experience and skills gained in roles such as support work, coaching, mentoring, and childcare .

About the Role :

  • Support students in the classroom, individually or in small groups.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide encouragement and guidance to students of all abilities.
  • Assist with classroom management and general admin tasks.

Who We’re Looking For :

Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education

Experience in support work, coaching, mentoring , or similar roles

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A positive and patient attitude

Requirements :

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (help will be provided by Teaching Personnel).
  • EWC Registration
  • Able to provide 2 most recent references.
  • Right to work in the UK.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
