Job Title : Junior Field Technician - Water Industry (Day & Night Shifts Available)

Location : Kent / Surrey / London

Salary : £28,000 per annum (+20% uplift for night shifts)

Shifts Available : Day & Night (night shifts receive a 20% pay uplift)

About the Role :

As a Junior Field Technician, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our clean water services. You'll gain hands-on experience in various field activities, supporting our team with asset verification, DMA validation, operability testing, trunk main isolations, and logger / probe deployments.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Act as the second-person on all field activities.
  • Assist with fleet logistics and delivery of chemicals for chlorination's.
  • Help set up sites safely and ensure equipment is well maintained.
  • Carry out DMA flow and pressure tests, learning how to spot anomalies and find solutions.
  • Maintain disinfection depots, storage facilities, and stock control.
  • Use GIS plans and other reference documents to complete risk assessments and site reports.
  • Support the project teams with problem-solving and operational needs.
  • What We're Looking For :
