Effectively manage costs for the site, and ensure targets are met by managing and controlling the budget and valuations, including monthly updating of the estimated final costs, and can show absolute cost and value reconciliation.Responsible for managing all sub-contractor procedures and processes, and materials and goods if necessary.The responsibilities of a Senior Quantity SurveyorContribute to the development and implementation of commercial strategies.Manage specific aspects of the project's commercial activities like managing contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.Ensure accurate cost control and financial reporting by monitoring project costs and preparing financial reports and identifying potential cost overruns.Mentor and support Assistant Quantity SurveyorsRequirements for Senior Quantity SurveyorPLC experienceExperience with COINS SystemWorked on large scale residential unitsQualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS cardStrong managerial and negotiation skills with internal and external clientsHighly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate preparation of budgets and subsequent valuationsIf you want to hear more about this Senior Quantity Surveyor role please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Lucas in our Brighton branch on (url removed)
