If you are an experienced hygiene operative looking for a fresh, clean challenge, we want to hear from you.Role OverviewThe purpose of this hygiene operative role is to ensure high standards of hygiene throughout the factory. This is a very important role, and whilst experience in a fresh, chilled meat environment would be advantageous, it is not essential.You will be working with a very supportive team who will help you find your feet in your new role.Full training will be given, and you will be joining a great team with a real family atmosphere.Responsibilities Include : Cleaning the factory plant, equipment, and facilitiesEnsuring all machine parts are in good condition when dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling the machinesGeneral cleaning and some heavy liftingEmptying waste bins, bagging rubbish, and making sure it is disposed of correctlyEmptying cardboard using the compact machinePlacing warning signs to alert people to potential hazards such as wet floors and spillagesEnsuring cleaning products are stored correctly and safelyCompleting cleaning recordsBenefitsWe offer : Free on-site car parkingEmployee of the Month bonusFree health checksStaff sales discountChristmas hamperWe welcome applications for this hygiene operative role from candidates with any of the following skills or attributes : hygiene operative, cleaner, maintenance, food hygiene, food safety, COSHH, waste management, industrial cleaning, and communication.Additional InformationThe working hours are either;Tuesday to Friday 10.00-20.00, Saturday 08.00-17.00ORWeek 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 09.00-19.00, Saturday 07.00-17.00Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 09.00-19.00Essential Skills Able to follow the required quality and hygiene standardsSelf-motivated and flexible with a can-do attitudeGood communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
