Pro currently have a number of opportunities for Technicians to join our Technical Accounting team working within the Credit Control function.
Experience is not required for these positions but an interest in accounting or finance and a willingness to learn new skills is key, as full training will be provided.
Pro operates a hybrid working model, with the majority of time working from home and from our Liverpool or Gloucester office on a weekly basis.
Job Description and Responsibilities :
- Premium ledger analysis and resolution of technical queries to enable matching of cash and ledger items to the monthly bordereaux
- Analysis of written bordereaux where cash discrepancies are identified against the paid bordereaux to determine root causes and make recommendations for correction and ongoing process improvements
- Investigation and resolution of accounts; identifying and following up issues, missing accounts or miscalculations with MGA’s or brokers
- Support write-off recommendations in line with Client procedures
- Provide credit control and ledger / cash functions for allocated accounts; chasing MGA’s, and / or brokers to secure payments
