Senior Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Master Technician : Sittingbourne

  • German Car Specialist
  • No Weekends
  • Salary : £40k - £50k (Basic)

Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM (No weekends)

A recently expanded and refurbished workshop, specializing in German car brands, is looking for an experienced Senior Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Master Technician to join their friendly and established team. Based in Sittingbourne, the company has a fantastic reputation for delivering high-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. They now seek an experienced technician with expertise in German car brands to take a lead role in their success, offering an excellent work-life balance and no weekend work.

Salary and Benefits :

  • Up to £50k basic salary (dependent on experience)
  • Monday to Friday hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM (no weekends)
  • In-house and external training courses fully paid for by the company, ensuring you can continue to develop your skills, particularly with German brands

  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead diagnostic and repair work on German vehicle brands (Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.)
  • Use your strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues specific to German cars
  • Apply your technical and mechanical expertise to a range of vehicles, specializing in German makes and models
  • Work collaboratively within a well-established team to maintain high-quality standards
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience with accurate, timely repairs and expert advice
  • Candidate Requirements :

  • Proven experience working with German car brands, particularly diagnostic work
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, or time-served experience
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills, with expertise in the nuances of German vehicles
  • Ability to work well in a team and tackle a range of tasks within the workshop
  • A flexible approach to all workshop tasks, from diagnostics to repairs
