Job description

Red Recruitment Group are looking for class 1 drivers for our client based in Evesham, this will include being flexible 3-5 days per week.

Start times : 0400 - 0700

Pay rate : £15.50 - £17.00 per hour

Job role includes :

  • Curtain- sided vehicles
  • General haulage
  • Multidrop deliveries
  • Delivering palletised goods

Duties

  • Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items on flatbed trailers.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.

  • Valid commercial driving license (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
  • 1 years experience on the HGV license.
