ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Registered Nurse, youll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. Well look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. As a Registered Nurse (RGN), youll have the autonomy to do things the right way

and be truly valued and respected for what you do.

ABOUT YOUTo join as a Peripatetic Nurse, youll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is important, as is a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards. Well also look for a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. Dedicated and ambitious, youll be able to lead by example

your can-do approach and excellent communication skills will motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
