Assistant Planning Policy Officer

Hours : 37 Hours per week

Salary : Up to SK10 (£32,457 per annum) depending on experience, qualifications and competencies

Contract : Permanent

With the recent publication of the new National Planning Policy Framework, it is an exciting time to be a policy planner. Working as part of a team of professional officers you will help to fulfil the Council’s strategic corporate priorities. Working for us you will have the opportunity to make a real difference for our residents, supporting and managing growth in the District.

With guidance you will provide technical support to the planning policy team, with an initial focus on monitoring of the adopted Local Plan; and supporting the preparation of a new Local Plan for South Kesteven District.

This post will contribute to and promote a one team “Team SK” philosophy, providing excellent services for residents and businesses.
