The Role :

Juniper Aged Care is actively seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Domestic Laundry Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Juniper Karinya site in Embleton .

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all linen and residents' clothing are appropriately laundered and returned to them. We are looking for a caring person who appreciates that a person’s clothing is important to them and deserves respect and care. You will need to be mindful of privacy and able to manage a busy day with high volumes of linen and personal items to launder.

The successful candidate will be offered a casual role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Attending to residents’ laundry, including washing clothing according to manufacturers’ specifications
• Ensuring bed linen is stripped, laundered, and labelled correctly
• Demonstrating respect for residents’ property and privacy
• Adhering to safe use of equipment instructions and maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Following Juniper's policies and procedures relating to Occupational Safety and Health
