About the Role

An Outstanding school in Enfield is seeking a talented and inspiring Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts faculty. This full-time, permanent role is available immediately, offering an opportunity to teach Drama up to KS5, inspiring students through theatre, performance, and stage production.

This school has a rich tradition of excellence in the performing arts, with well-equipped drama studios and a dedicated performance space. The Drama department provides students with opportunities to participate in a variety of theatrical productions and workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Drama across KS3, KS4, and KS5, focusing on performance, stagecraft, and theatrical interpretation.
  • Guide students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, helping them develop confidence in acting and production skills.
  • Organise and direct school productions, drama showcases, and performance workshops.
  • Work collaboratively to enhance and expand the Drama curriculum.
  • Support extracurricular activities such as theatre clubs, monologue coaching, and scriptwriting competitions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • PGCE or QTS.
  • Experience teaching Drama up to KS5.
