Job description

Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 250 staff, providing expert services in architecture, building surveying, project management, cost consultancy, M&E, structural engineering, and sustainability. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their South East London office, offering structured APC support and excellent career progression opportunities.

Graduate Building Surveyor - Salary & Benefits

Salary : £28,000 - £38,000 (DOE).

Graduate Building Surveyor - Job Overview

  • Assisting in the delivery of building surveying services across a variety of projects.
  • Conducting site inspections, condition surveys, and defect analysis.
  • Preparing reports, schedules of work, and specifications.
  • Supporting contract administration and project management duties.
  • Assisting in design and refurbishment projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
  • Engaging with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Working towards achieving APC and gaining chartered status.
  • Graduate Building Surveyor - Job Requirements

  • Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Eager to work towards RICS chartership (full APC support provided).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Some relevant industry experience (such as placements or internships) would be beneficial.
