Job Description : Domiciliary CarerLocation : North London (covering Barnet, Southgate, and Enfield)Job Type : Full-timeSalary : £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications) About the Role We are seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Carers to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes across the North London area. Your role will involve assisting clients with daily living tasks, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being. Key Responsibilities Personal Care : Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care. Meal Preparation : Support with meal planning, cooking, and feeding if required. Medication Support : Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans. Companionship : Engage clients in conversation and activities to combat loneliness. Domestic Support : Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Transportation : Escort clients to appointments, social activities, or errands if necessary. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate care notes and report any concerns to the care coordinator. Requirements A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support others. Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential—training will be provided. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or on a rota basis. Excellent communication skills. Ability to travel between client homes within Barnet, Southgate, and Enfield (own vehicle preferred but not essential). Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one). Qualifications NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards). Valid UK driving license (preferred). Right to work in the UK. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate.
