As Director of Fundraising, you will be an experienced fundraising leader, passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences to our donors, internal stakeholders and beneficiaries. You will provide high-quality leadership to the Fundraising Department, support the Leadership Team to achieve their goals and influence leaders across the organisation, champion fundraising and secure buy-in.

  • Do you have experience of leading Fundraising Departments at a senior level that include high value audiences?
  • Do you have experience in managing the high value fundraising cycle– from prospecting, developing proposals and pitching them, and securing funding / grants / business to the value of 6 and 7 figures – and overseeing teams engaged in this activity?
  • Do you have experience in account management, upselling and relationship development of a portfolio of funders?
  • Do you have experience in managing the performance of individuals within, and the leadership and direction of team / s of fundraisers / business development professionals?
  • Do you understand the drivers for purchase / funding decisions of different funder / stakeholder groups and have developed proposals and campaigns that bring them together?
  • Do you understand fundraising performance metrics and how to utilise them to support delivery against objectives and be able to develop departmental strategies, budgets, and plans?
  • Have you worked closely with delivery teams to design proposals that work for the organisation and have overseen the operational delivery of funded programmes alongside them?

Advertised Salary, London Weighting Allowance and Annual Leave entitlement are FTE. They will be pro-rata'd for part time and fixed term positions.
