Nursery : Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary : Starting from £27,231.95 - £28,274.40 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata) (dependent on qualification / s and experience)

Location : Raynes Park, SW20

We are looking for a part time, Level 2 / 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Nursery, situated just a 5 minute walk from Raynes Park train station, with excellent public transport links, including several bus stops within a few minutes walk. There is also some on-street parking close by. This role can be 2 / 3 / 4 full days.

Our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery is proudly rated Ofsted ‘Good’ and is based just a 5 minute walk from the high street- great for grabbing a coffee at lunch time! The lovely 62-place setting features large and well-resourced rooms, and a great outdoor garden with play equipment.

What you’ll be doing

Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.

Develop and maintain strong parent / carer partnerships

Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

What we’re looking for

Full and Relevant Level 2 / 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)

Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
