CRIMINAL LAWYER (ADVOCACY) – LOCUM – 3+ PQE, SOUTH WALES - £40 - £45 PER HOUR. A locum opportunity is available with a public body in South Wales to provide advocacy services during the recruitment process for a permanent candidate. Job Ref : 6290

• A locum Prosecution Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of PQE is needed to focus on civil advocacy matters.
• The ideal locum solicitor should quickly adapt and effectively manage their own caseload.
• The caseload includes various civil matters and claims, such as crime, firearms, stalking prevention, domestic violence, and sexual offences.
• The candidate must provide advocacy in courts across large geographical areas in South Wales, requiring the ability and willingness to travel.
• The selected candidate should work independently, preparing their own applications and submissions, with shared assistance available for preparing court bundles.
• Flexible working options are available, including hybrid or remote working, though court attendance is required.
