Job description

HGV Technician, Farmfoods Monkspath Depot, Solihull.

  • 20.70 per hour standard rate of pay.
  • Working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern working the hours of 8 : 00am - 8 : 00pm.
  • Full time, permanent contract.
  • Mantaining our fleet consisting of Mercades and Renault HGV tractor units along with a variety of multi-temperature trailers, curtain sliders and box trailers.
  • We offer lots of ongoing training and development within this role.

Duties

  • Maintaining of our fleet of vehicles within our on-site vehicle maintence units.
  • Carrying out inspections, repairs and testing.
  • Diagnosing faults.
  • Work in a professional and safe manner at all times.

    • You will need the following qualifications and experience to be considered :

  • Level 3 City & Guilds Maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (or equivalent)
  • Diagnostic equipment and fault tracing resulting in first time repair
  • MOT preparation

    • The following qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential so please let us know in your application :

  • LOLER experience and tail lift repair (desirable)
  • Multi temperature trailers and fridge repairs (desirable)
  • CE licence (desirable but not essential)
