This is a thriving and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing an excellent education for all their pupils. We are seeking an inspiring and experienced KS1 teacher to join their team as a Phase Leader . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead and support their KS1 team, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning across the phase. This begins September 2025.

Duties as a KS1 Teacher :

  • n Teaching : Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • n Leadership : Provide guidance, coaching, and support to KS1 teachers to drive excellent practice.
  • n Curriculum Development : Lead the development and implementation of an engaging KS1 curriculum.
  • n Assessment & Progress : Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
  • n Staff Development : Support and mentor teachers and teaching assistants, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.
  • n Parental Engagement : Work closely with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being.

Ideal KS1 Teacher :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in KS1 teaching.
  • A strong understanding of KS1 curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy.
  • Proven leadership skills or a desire to take on a leadership role.
  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting all pupils to achieve their full potential as a KS1 Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
