Job Title : Project Manager – Semiconductor Development

Location : Bristol UK (Hybrid)

They are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex engineering development projects in collaboration with global teams.

Job Overview

As the Project Manager, you will lead teams in the development of key products such as System IP, CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, SoC, GPU, and PHY. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and engineering teams to ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from conception to delivery, while working across various functional areas within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from initial concept to final delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality product releases.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate resources effectively, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Manage risks, changes, dependencies, and budgets, while tracking progress with effective metrics.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations and reporting progress.
  • Occasional travel may be required to work with internal teams and partners.

Skills & Experience

Required :

  • Proven experience managing projects across all stages of the engineering development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of microelectronics and IP development processes.
  • Experience within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proficiency in both hardware and software IP development lifecycle methods (e.g., waterfall, iterative).
  • Strong ability to translate high-level goals into detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Experience managing uncertainty and implementing effective tracking metrics.
