Blue Diamond Recruitment is working with an established business within the construction industry based in Staffordshire. Their values align with our own – supporting local businesses and charities.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly into the Commercial Manager of this award winning business. Forming part of the Commercial team. Whilst you will be based in the Staffordshire head office, there will also be regular travel involved for site visits which are located across the country.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure best value from suppliers and subcontractors through careful selection and commercial management.
• Lead timely submission, negotiation, and agreement of interim and final accounts with clients / main contractors.
• Understand project specs, pricing, programmes, and contracts to support delivery.
• Support contract review and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
• Assist with pre-start planning, procurement, and supplier capability assessments.
• Manage subcontractor payments, variations, and commercial performance.
• Track project progress and attend meetings to document actions and issues.
• Oversee cost control, change management, and continuous reporting improvements.
• Produce monthly valuation reports and cash flows for designated projects.
