Are you a creative problem-solver with a talent for getting to the bottom of things? If so, we would love to receive your application for projects editor at Global Water Intelligence (GWI).
We are looking for a seasoned professional to take our water project tracking service to new heights. The current service tracks real-time updates on more than 1,000 major water infrastructure projects worldwide to help our subscribers identify business opportunities. Most of this project information is kept to insiders, which is why it is so valuable.
We are now looking for someone to develop this business development offering within our suite of products. You will lead from the front in securing timely and actionable information on live opportunities, while also enhancing the service with the latest data aggregation and analysis techniques. The role will require close contact with clients to tailor the product to their changing needs. You will learn to navigate a global landscape of business-critical data, and work closely with data analysis and web development departments in order to make strategic decisions and deliver product enhancements.
Working initially in close collaboration with the editor-in-chief, you will co-manage a team of contributors (all of whom have other jobs) while also actively pursuing details yourself as you work to maximise the value and timeliness of the coverage. The successful candidate will also take responsibility for curating and maintaining our market-leading database of projects involving private sector participation.
Ultimately, the goal is to bring together the value in each project opportunity and the collective value of the aggregated data to see the bigger picture of the water market. By leading this effort and talking regularly to sources on the ground, you will be able to inform the market forecasts, research and event agendas that help shape the global water industry.
