Our WQ and E (Water Quality & Environment) team have an opportunity for you to join as our new EDM Reporting Specialist.
We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate, and self-starting individual to join the EDM Compliance and Reporting team as a senior technical expert within the Water Quality & Environment department.
As the senior technical expert within the team, you will be expected to take responsibility for company level compliance to dynamic external reporting demands.
The role holder will be required to analyse, understand, and interpret complex regulatory frameworks, translating them into actionable guidelines ready for practical application by operational teams. They will also be skilled in understanding and manipulating large datasets from a variety of sources to identify insight, trends, opportunities and risks to compliance and performance at pace.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re seeking our EDM reporting specialist to have experience of external assurance and regulatory reporting including audit attendance, excellence in translating insight into compliance improvement opportunities and the end to end delivery of those improvements. We would also like our specialist to have experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be capable of presenting to a wide range of audiences and influencing different teams to gain support and buy in. The ability to work with large datasets and clash and manipulate data from a variety of sources to produce insight is key.
To be successful, it’s expected that you’ll have good technical knowledge of waste processes (Networks and / or Recycling) and experience working in operational and regulatory environments.
As well as this you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and diagnostic skills and exceptional attention to detail.
As travel may be required, you’ll also need to hold a full UK driving licence.
