THE BUSINESS

Our client is the largest manufacturer of ductwork jointing systems in the UK, bringing together over 60 years of manufacturing experience. Operating from their headquarters in County Durham, they oversee design through to manufacturing, supporting production and dispatch. Regional distributors provide local stock availability to suit specific customer needs, supported by highly-trained external sales personnel who are fully conversant with their own market sector's requirements.

THE ROLE

The role is to actively support the business and sales strategy by planning a wide range of multi-channel marketing activity, with a strong focus on their product range. You will be responsible for ensuring that both new and current product and activity is promoted to a high standard across a variety of key platforms. This role would suit someone with proven experience of digital marketing and content creating, with a desire to lead the business marketing strategy

  • Development, planning and implementation of marketing communication materials based on the strategic guidelines of group marketing
  • Planning and implementation of all product related marketing activities
  • Digital and print content creations including printed materials, images and videos
  • Elaboration of product positioning, and preparation of product information and sales documents
  • Write marketing distributions for website, brochures etc
  • Managing social media accounts and blogs
  • SEO involvement working closely with our marketing consultant
  • Marketing campaigns
  • Conducting market research and analysis
  • Planning and organising exhibitions
  • Lead generation, recording and reporting
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing performance
  • Marketing administration
  • THE PERSON

  • It is essential that you have marketing and advertising experience with a significant focus on content creation, digital marketing, and social media marketing
  • A degree in business, marketing or advertising is desirable but not essential
  • Project management experience within a marketing function
  • You will be a natural dynamic communicator, an engaging wordsmith with an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Confident in the use of Adobe Cloud
  • You will be a creative lateral thinker with an abundance of initiative and idea generation
  • You will be passionate, hardworking, authentic and professional in all of your undertakings
  • You will be commercially aware, and confident in communicating and influencing across all levels of the business
  • You will be enthusiastic, keen to learn and develop in the role
  • You will possess great organisational skills and a keen attention to detail
