This role involves delivering technical support, servicing air conditioning units, and providing City & Guilds training. Travel and overnight stays are a key part of this position, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities of a Field Service and Training SpecialistPerform routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.
- Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems to minimise downtime for customers.
- Conduct installation checks and commissioning of new air conditioning units.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use and care of their equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels on company vehicles, ensuring all necessary tools and spare parts are available.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations during all service activities.
- Participate in regular training to stay updated on the latest industry practices, equipment, and regulations.
- Travel to customer sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.Key Skills of a Field Service and Training Specialist
- Strong understanding of air conditioning systems.
- City & Guilds mobile air conditioning qualification or equivalent.
- Previous sales experience, ideally in the automotive or agricultural sectors.
- High level of literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency.
