Job descriptionMust have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines. Confident, polite and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated. Hourly rate of £17.58ph PLUS For all hours worked between & hours, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour! Various shifts available. Various start times. The position of Class 1 Casual Driver involves :
- Variety of work available to include days and weekends.
- Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Deliveries and collections to and from businesses.
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
