At NCH, we have a need for an ambitious, entry level, outside sales representative in the Midlands region, specifically Oxfordshire or Bedfordshire. At NCH, we are a family owned company that manufactures and supplies advanced performance lubricants for heavy machinery. Through business-to-business sales in an industrial setting, you will focus on developing and securing long term partnerships with new and existing customers out in the field.

Previous sales experience is not essential, we are interested in speaking to people who can demonstrate the required attributes needed for this role and are looking for their first opportunity in a sales position. This is a field based sales position and not office based.

Key Responsibilities

KPIs :

  • Develop strong relationships with existing and new customers out in the field
  • Present and demonstrate sales presentations in a consultative approach
  • Detailed planning and prioritisation of daily activities Key Accountabilities :
  • Coordinate and attend review meetings at contracted customer’s sites – presence at client sites will be expected daily.
  • Account management – maintain relationships with customer post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain referrals.
  • Complete and manage all customer orders utilizing relevant company technology and in accordance with company policies, procedures and trading standards.
  • Present NCH Europe as a credible and professional supplier of products / services.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services as well as industry developments.
  • This is a field based sales role - you will be expected to visit client sites daily to prospect new sales and retain existing customers.

  • Ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
  • Ensure adherence to NCH Europe’s health and safety standards, to protect the wellbeing of colleagues.

  • You will receive a basic salary of £27k + £3K car allowance + an uncapped commission scheme with the realistic potential to earn £40-60k OTE.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with all levels of management / non-management both internally to NCH Europe and externally.
