Technical Sales Manager (Food Ingredients)Home based, UKSalary £52,000 - £64,000 pa + BonusAn ingredients manufacturing business is seeking to appoint a Technical Sales / Business Development Manager in what is a new role, created due to the ongoing success of the business in attracting and retaining a quality portfolio of customers.The Technical Sales / Business Development Manager will work from home and will cover a customer base that extends across the UK. This role is open to both established consultative sales professionals and those with extensive technical experience (NPD / Technical) of food manufacturing, who would like to transition to a sales role and utilise their knowledge in a commercial setting.The Role

• Consultative sales of Ingredients to Food Manufacturing customers within : Chilled Foods, Meats, Seafood.
• Acting like a Technical Consultant by providing Technical advice and solutions, rather than just selling a commodity.
• Work closely with the NPD teams on customer sites, being used as a source of knowledge around product applications and technical capabilities of products.
• Work on 80% existing Accounts and 20% New business.
• Focus on nurturing Accounts, building relationships, and becoming a trusted source of information to customers, offering solutions that are commercially sound and credible.
