What our client is offering for the successful Specifications Technologist :

Starting salary of up £35,000 per annumMonday to Friday, Day shiftPermanent contractFree on-site parkingCompany pensionThe Role - Specifications Technologist :

Accurate completion / review of B2B customer finished product specifications in the required formats and within agreed timescales.

Provide additional technical information to customers in relation to finished product specification queriesAssist with monitoring vendor performance as required.Assist with tracking and investigating the latest food industry risks and alerts relevant to raw materials with suppliers.Work with the Technical Manager to implement raw material testing requirementsMaintain material specifications and supporting technical documentationWhat we are looking for in a Specifications Technologist :

Previous food industry experience including previous or similar experience in completing finished product specifications and a background in supplier assurance - ESSENTIALUnderstanding of commodity accreditations (e.g. Organic etc.)Familiarity with customer codes of practice specific to sourcing of raw materialsVACCP and TACCP training - ESSENTIALKey skills or similar Job titles : Specifications Technologist, Specification Officer, Food Technologist, Technical Specifications Coordinator, Food Safety & Compliance Technologist, Technical Documentation Specialist, Packaging Technologist
