Breakfast Duty Manager

Dakota Hotel based in  Glasgow City Centre  are seeking an outgoing ‘morning person’ who is organised and enthusiastic for the role of full-time Breakfast Duty Manager.

CONTRACT AND PAY RATE

The gross annual salary is £27,880 (inclusive of the anticipated tronc payment) plus an annual incentive bonus to earn up to £1,000.

The role carries a permanent contract of a minimum of 35 hours per week and typical shifts will be 06 : 00-14 : 00, working any 5 days out of 7.

PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the role of Breakfast Duty Manager  is responsible for  leading their team of breakfast assistants. Working closely with the wider food and beverage team, the role  is responsible for  hosting and running breakfast and lunch service, ensuring the operation runs smoothly and guests have the best possible dining experience.

Be the appointed Duty Manager, responsible for leading emergency evacuations and communicating between departments.

As the head of department, carry out managerial duties including writing breakfast rotas, holiday management, carrying out job interviews, working closely with other departments, and delivering training.

Work with the Breakfast Chef to give feedback and suggestions on continuously improving the breakfast offering and service.

Work to continuously develop the teams’ knowledge and provide on-the-job coaching and be proactive in implementing procedures that continually improve the service.

Lead the team to provide a consistently  high level  of guest service in accordance  to  our service principles and values, ensuring that all guests receive special attention and recognitio
