Position of work :   Eastern Airways HQ - Humberside Airport

Hours :   Full Time

As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Auditor to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations adhere to regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal standards.

Responsibilities :

1. Audit Planning and Execution :

  • Develop comprehensive audit plans based on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough and objective audits of aviation processes, systems, and documentation.
  • Evaluate compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

2. Risk Assessment :

  • Identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance within aviation operations.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to assess and mitigate identified risks.
  • 3. Documentation Review :

  • Scrutinize and analyse aviation documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to documentation processes.
  • 4. Continuous Improvement :

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit findings.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance audit processes continually.
  • 5. Communication :

  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Communicate audit results to management, relevant departments, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • 6. Training and Education :

  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
  • Stay abreast of changes in aviation regulations and disseminate relevant information within the organisation.
  • Requirements : 1. Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2. Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation auditing.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK aviation regulations and international standards.
  • 3. Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • 4. Team Collaboration :

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
